Caravane Rose du Sable is the name of our caravanserai, which we run together with a campsite and guesthouse on our beautiful property, Iharine.
“Iharine”, meaning “the well-mannered camel” in Tamazight, is a place that allows you to step out of the old and familiar — to escape the pressure of modern life and give your mind and body a rest from constant haste.

It is a place to pause, to breathe, to rediscover your inner balance.

You will find us at the edge of the Sahara, in the province of Zagora, near the small village of Ouled Driss, just before M’Hamid el Ghizlane — at the southern end of the Draa Valley, a long oasis of palm trees stretching from the Anti-Atlas mountains to the Western Sahara.

In 2006, Brahim Ahansal and Karla Ahansal founded the caravanserai.
